Tig  -> Tungsten inert gas

Oxyacetylene is used primarily for cutting. 

One can see in the image an argon gas line. Argon is an inert gas. Atomic Number 18, Atomic Mass 39.948 gm/mol.
Of the group of gases shown in the diagram argon is the most expensive. Inert gases are also known as noble gases or rare gases. They are very non-reactive.
